Seafood Salad Sandwiches

  • 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Vegetable Soup Mix
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives [or frozen chives] (optional)
  • Hot pepper sauce to taste
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 packages (6 oz. ea.) frozen crabmeat, thawed and well drained*
  • 4 hard rolls, halved
  • Lettuce leaves


  1. Blend Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Vegetable Soup Mix, sour cream, Mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, chives, hot pepper sauce and pepper in large bowl. Stir in crabmeat; chill. To serve, line rolls with lettuce, then fill with crab mixture.

*VARIATION: Use 1 package (12 oz.) frozen cleaned shrimp, cooked and coarsely chopped; OR 2 packages (8 oz. ea.) sea legs, thawed, drained and chopped; OR 1 can (13 oz.) tuna, drained and flaked; OR 2 cans (4-1/2 oz. ea.) medium or large shrimp, drained and chopped; OR 2 cans (6-1/2 oz. ea.) crabmeat, drained and flaked.
