Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless beef brisket
  • 2 envelopes Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 1/2 quarts water
  • 1/2 medium yellow turnip [or 6 small white turnips], cut into wedges
  • 4 medium potatoes, halved and quartered
  • 2 medium carrots, halved and quartered
  • 1/2 medium cabbage, cut into wedges

Directions

  1. Combine beef, Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix and water in heavy stockpot. Simmer covered 1-1/2 hours. Add turnip, potatoes and carrots. Cook covered, 10 minutes. Stir in cabbage and cook an additional 10 minutes or until beef and vegetables are tender.
