Rated 3 out of 5 by jessed6ff from I tried this two different ways. The first was in a meatloaf with the recipe given on the box. It was fine, it enhance the beef flavor of the meat, but it didn't wow me with flavor. Additionally, the dehydrated onion pieces in the mix ended up looking like strands of fat which was not the most appetizing to look at. I also tried this as a soup mix. Personally, I thought it did better as a soup but you'll still need other spices so it doesn't turn out bland. Overall, it's fine, especially if in a pinch but I didn't love it and I don't see myself using it in the future. I received this for free in return for an honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by alexabrat from Liptons beefy onion soup mix adds that wow factor to any dish you add it to and I would highly recommend it! Ive been using the original onion soup mix in my pot roast for years and substituting this mix really took the recipe up a notch. I also tried it in dry pinto beans along with garlic salt. 20 minutes in the pressure cooker and I had a side dish that turned out to be a huge hit at my companys potluck! Ill definitely be repurchasing this mix and look forward to trying it out in other recipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by patriciac156d from I received this complimentary box beefy onion mix from influenster and boy was I in for a big treat for dinner these recipe boxes are super because they come ready with bursting flavor I made my famous chili I usually don't put much seasoning because this box has all the goody ingredients I need the prep time is super fast and I don't need to waste money buying additional seasoning just some ground beef and a little chili powder and ta-da dinner is ready I love Lipton items thank you influenster for delivering this GREAT item to me !!!!

I decided to make a beef roast and used this to cook it in! It was so easy, added the beef and poured the dry mix over the top! I then added about a cup of water! The meat was tender and the extra juices made a wonderful gravy when thickened! I will be purchasing this again as it adds a little extra compared to just regular onion soup mix!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Gina from What have you done to the Beefy Onion Soup Mix???I love to use Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix in my beef stew and beef roast. It always adds a beautiful layer of flavor, that is until recently. The last two boxes I bought had no onion. I checked to make sure I didn't buy the wrong one. I didn't. It says Beefy Onion. What did you do with the onions?? I need you to fix this. My beef stew missed a whole layer of flavor because of this. I would recommend this if you make it like before but not at it is now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from I received this complimentary from Influenster and was impressed. I used the recipe on the back for the pot roast and it was the perfect seasoning packet. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because 1 packet included 25% of your daily sodium. Its not bad when you consider the scope, but its just something to be aware of. Pot roast came out great ! Definitely something to pick up if your in need of quick seasoning packets.
