Swedish Meatballs Recipe

- 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Beefy Onion Soup Mix
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup mashed potato flakes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley leaves
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 2 tsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Email | Print1. Combine Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Beefy Onion Soup Mix, ground beef, potato flakes, milk, egg and parsley in medium bowl. Shape into 2-inch meatballs. Melt margarine in large skillet and brown meatballs. Remove meatballs to serving platter and keep warm.
2. Stir in flour, allspice and nutmeg blended with cream in same skillet; simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked noodles.
